How to create Ringtone from MP3 for iPhone.

Dear Readers, This topic might be a little old tech for some of you here but i do receive some enquiries about how to create ringtone from MP3 music format files. I'll be writing a step by step method on how you can do it without any help from any other software besides iTunes. i hope this will benefit some of you who wish to do that but wondering HOW...?

Step1: Get your favorites MP3 songs already.
Step2: Play the MP3 in itunes. (this song should show up in the library music.)
Step3: Right Click on the music file and select Get Info....
Step4: A window will pop up, then select the Options tab.
Step5: At the "Start time and Stop time", key in your favorites part of the song with a max of 30secs.
(E.g. : Start time at 1:30 to 2:00) then click ok.
Step6: Right Click on the song again and click Create ACC Version.
Step7: Locate the newly created 30secs music file and rename the extension from .m4a to .m4r
(E.g. : My Song.m4a to My Song.m4r)
Step8: Now you can double click on the .m4r file and it should show up in the itune under Tones.
Step9: With this, you can Sync this file into your iphone as ringtone.

Thank you.
